Abstract

VHF Air to Ground adalah fasilitas komunikasi penerbangan yang digunakan untuk komunikasi antar pesawat di udara dengan petugas pengendali lalu lintas penerbangan di darat. Peralatan VHF-AG terdiri dari Transmitter (Pemancar) dan Receiver (Penerima) yang masing-masing membutuhkan Antena sebagai media Transmisi Gelombang Elektromagnetik. Berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Nomor 30 Tahun 2005 tentang Pemberlakuan Standar Nasional Indonesia Mengenai Kriteria Penempatan Fasilitas Komunikasi Darat-Udara Berfrekuensi Amat Tinggi (VHF A/G) lokasi penempatan peralatan VHF-A/G harus berada didalam Menara Pengawas dan Antena VHF-A/G ditempatkan di atas Menara Pengawas dengan jarak antara satu Antena VHF-A/G dengan Antena VHF-A/G lainnya minimal 5 m. Syarat jarak penempatan antena VHF - AG tersebut mengakibatkan terbatasnya lahan penempatan dan jumlah antena yang dapat dipasang di atas menara pengawas. Penggunaan Receiver Multicoupler merupakan usaha untuk melakukan efisiensi penggunaan jumlah antenna sehingga dapat memaksimalkan luas lahan yang tersedia, namun tetap dapat mempertahankan fungsi dan kinerja dari peralatan VHF A/G. Setelah pemasangan Receiver Multicoupler dapat dilakukan efisiensi penggunaan antena Receiver (penerima) dari tujuh antena menjadi satu antena penerima tanpa mengurangi fungsi dan kinerja dari Radio Receiver (penerima). VHF Air to Ground is an aviation communication facility used for communication between aircraft in the air and flight traffic controllers on the ground. VHF-AG equipment consists of a Transmitter (Transmitter) and Receiver (Receiver), each of which requires an Antenna as a medium for Transmission of Electromagnetic Waves. Based on Ministerial Decree No. 30 of 2005 concerning the Enforcement of Indonesian National Standards Regarding the Criteria for Placement of Very High Frequency Ground-Air Communication Facilities (VHF A/G), the location of the VHF-A/G equipment must be located inside the Monitoring Tower and the VHF-A/G Antenna is placed above the Watch Tower with a minimum distance of 5 m between one VHF-A/G Antenna and another VHF-A/G Antenna. The requirement for the placement distance of the VHF - AG antenna results in the limited placement area and the number of antennas that can be installed on top of the control tower. The use of Receiver Multicoupler is an attempt to make efficient use of the number of antennas so as to maximize the available land area, but still maintain the function and performance of VHF A/G equipment. After the installation of the Receiver Multicoupler, efficient use of the Receiver antenna (receiver) can be made from seven antennas into one receiving antenna without reducing the function and performance of the Radio Receiver (receiver).
