Abstract

Ikan laut memiliki kandungan protein yang tinggi dan banyak disukai masyarakat, selain harganya yang relative terjangkau dan banyak ditangkap nelayan. Ikan laut merupakan ikan yang cepat mengalami pembusukan. Masyarakat yang suka melakukan pengasapan ikan laut, agar ikan lebih tahan lama dan menambah cita rasa pada ikan, pengasapan ikan secara tradisional dengan sistem dinilai kurang efektif karena panas yang dihasilkan, akan banyak terbuang. Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan sistem pengasapan otomatis dengan menggunakan elektrik dan tertutup, sehingga pengasapan lebih efektif. Pengasapan otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler arduino uno R3 dan sensor DHT 22 untuk mengontrol suhu. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pengasapan secara konvensional membutuhkan waktu 7-8 jam, sedangkan pengasapan ikan otomatis menggunakan suhu 80⁰C membutuhkan waktu 70 menit. ketika nilai suhu melebihi 80⁰C secara otomatis element ( panas ) akan mati. Dimana secara otomatis Kipas akan bekerja untuk mensirkulasi asap, agar ikan yang di asap akan merata, jika suhu kurang dari 80⁰C maka secara otomatis kipas akan berhenti bekerja. Sea fish has a high protein content and is much liked by the public, besides the price is relatively affordable and many fishermen catch it. Marine fish are fish that quickly decay. People who like to smoke sea fish, so that the fish last longer and add flavor to the fish, the traditional system of smoking fish is considered less effective because the heat generated will be wasted a lot. In this study, an automatic fumigation system was developed using electricity and closed, so that the fumigation was more effective. Automatic fumigation based on Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller and DHT 22 sensor to control temperature. The results showed that conventional smoking takes 7-8 hours, while the automatic smoking of fish using a temperature of 80⁰C takes 70 minutes. when the temperature value exceeds 80⁰C the element (heat) will automatically turn off. Where the fan will automatically work to circulate the smoke, so that the smoked fish will be evenly distributed, if the temperature is less than 80⁰C the fan will automatically stop working.
