Abstract

This research aims to determine whether students who are taught using interview techniques have better test scores on the post-test than on the pre-test. Using the experimental method with a sample of 10 students. The results showed that the t-count value was 17.676 while the critical value in the t-table was 1.833. This means that the value of t-count > t-table. As a result, the null hypothesis that exceeds the hypothesis is rejected. The researcher concludes that the interview technique can increase students' posttest scores. Therefore, it can be concluded that the interview technique is effective in improving students' speaking skills.
