Abstract

Kata Kunci : Serbuk Kayu, Kayu Ulin, Uji Tarik Abstract INTRODUCTION The Ulin tree has the scientific name Eusideroxylon zwageri, this tree is called the iron tree because it is the strongest wood from its natural habitat, Kalimantan Island. because it is the strongest wood from its natural habitat, Borneo Island, ulinjuga wood is very durable in use, and termite resistant. is also very durable in use, and termite resistant. Now the ulin tree population is increasingly rare, and endangered. In some other countries it can also be said to be extinct. This happened due to massive exploitation in the past, causing the price of this wood to be quite expensive to obtain at this time. causing the price of this wood to be quite expensive to obtain at this time. This flora has become protected natural resources in the country and its trade and utilization and its trade and utilization receive serious and strict supervision from the government in particular. Ironwood sawdust waste causes problems in handling, namely left to rot, piled up, and burned, all of which have a negative impact on the environment. environment. In South Kalimantan itself, sawdust is only thrown away or burned. Therefore, as a student, I took the initiative to utilize the ulin wood sawdust waste to become a mixture of ulin wood powder waste to become a renewable material mixture. From the test results I did, the results of testing the sample within 30 minutes got the highest result of 282 kgf. highest result worth 282 kgf, sample testing within 60 minutes got the highest result 288 kgf, and pengujiandalam time 90 minutes obtained the results of 293 kgf, as well as the average of each sample 30 = 273 kgf. sample 30 = 273 kgf, 60 = 275.3 kgf, and 90 = 283.6 kgf.
