Abstract

Based on puskesmas data in 2022 from January to April, the number of pregnant women was 289 people with 31 cases of pregnant women experiencing SEZ. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women in the working area of the Central Alalak Health Center in 2022. This research method is a quantitative method with a Cross Sectional approach. The total population is 289 people with a sample of 75 respondents using the purposive sampling technique. test Chi - Square with (α = 0.05). The results showed that age (p = 0.354), knowledge (p = 0.615), education (p = 0.106) and family income (p = 0.503) had no relationship with the incidence of CED in pregnant women. It is hoped that the puskesmas can increase the knowledge of pregnant women through counseling with health media for pregnant women which are the factors that cause Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women and the dangers of experiencing CED.
