Abstract

Sanitasi lingkungan memiliki peran penting terhadap status kesehatan manusia, kontaminasi bakteri E.coli diperoleh dari sumber air kemudian dikonsumsi untuk memasak, minum dan sebagainya yang mengakibatkan penyakit diare. Diare menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang dikategorikan kedalam 10 penyakit tertinggi tahun 2023 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Banjarbaru Selatan. Diwilayah kerja puskesmas banjarbaru selatan tahun 2022 kasus diare pada balita sebanyak 94 kasus, sedangkan di tahun 2023 terhitung dari bulan januari – april kasus diare pada balita sebanyak 54 kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sanitasi lingkungan dan Personal Hygiene dengan kejadian diare. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan metode penelitian cross-sectional merupakan rancangan penelitian dengan melakukan pengukuran pada saat bersamaan atau sekali waktu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2.578 dengan sampel sebanyak 96 orang ibu memiliki balita. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner, uji yang digunakan penelitian ini Chi Square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Ada hubungan antara Penyediaan air bersih dengan kejadian diare (p-value=0,037), Ada hubungan antara pengelolaan sampah dengan kejadian diare (p-value=0,000), Ada hubungan antara CTPS dengan kejadian diare (p-value=0,004), Ada hubungan antara kebersihan kuku kaki dan tangan dengan kejadian diare (p-value=0,004). Disarankan kepada responden peka terhadap sanitasi lingkungan disekitar tempat tinggal dan lebih meningkatkan personal hygiene agar sama sama mencegah penyebaran diare. Environmental sanitation has an important role in human health status, contamination of E.coli bacteria is obtained from water sources and then consumed for cooking, drinking and so on which causes diarrheal disease. Diarrhea is a health problem that is categorized into the 10 highest diseases in 2023 in the working area of the South Banjarbaru Health Center. In the working area of the Banjarbaru Selatan Health Center in 2022 there were 94 cases of diarrhea in toddlers, while in 2023 as of January - April there were 54 cases of diarrhea in toddlers. This study aims to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and personal hygiene with the incidence of diarrhea. The type of research used is analytic observational with a cross-sectional research method which is a research design by taking measurements at the same time or one time. The population in this study was 2,578 with a sample of 96 mothers with toddlers. The research instrument used a questionnaire, the test used in this study was Chi Square. Based on the research results, there is a relationship between the provision of clean water and the incidence of diarrhea (p-value = 0.037), there is a relationship between waste management and the incidence of diarrhea (p-value = 0.000), there is a relationship between CTPS and the incidence of diarrhea (p-value = 0.004) , There is a relationship between the cleanliness of toenails and hands with the incidence of diarrhea (p-value = 0.004). It is recommended that respondents are sensitive to environmental sanitation around their residence and further improve personal hygiene so that they both prevent the spread of diarrhea
