Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Web-Based Employee Data Management System in Batu Ampar Subdistrict, Tanah Laut District, focusing on improving employee data management performance and identifying implementation barriers. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, this research is based on interviews with related employees, such as the Subdistrict Secretary and the Head of General Affairs and Personnel. The main findings indicate that this information system has enhanced efficiency and quality of data management, facilitated easier access and management of employee data online, and improved the quality of information for filling job analysis (ANJAB) forms. However, challenges such as a lack of user understanding and limited system accessibility in some areas were identified. In conclusion, the system contributes positively but requires better employee training and network infrastructure improvements to overcome obstacles. Recommendations include regular training, network infrastructure enhancement, and periodic system evaluations to improve service and efficiency in employee data management. Implementing these recommendations is expected to maximize the effectiveness of the information system and improve employee data management in Batu Ampar Subdistrict.
