Abstract

Stunting merupakan salah satu masalah yang menghambat perkembangan manusia secara global. Indonesia masih mengalami permasalahan dalam masalah gizi dan tumbuh kembang anak, karenanya persentase balita pendek di Indonesia masih tinggi dan merupakan masalah kesehatan yang harus ditanggulangi. Berdasarkan hasil Riskesdas Tahun 2013 di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah terdapat 3 (tiga) Kabupaten dengan prevalensi stunting yang yang cukup tinggi yaitu Kabupaten Barito Timur 54,84%, Kabupaten Kapuas 45,16% dan Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur 36,88%. Hasil Riskesdas tahun 2018 angka Stunting di Kabupaten Kapuas telah mengalami penurunan sebesar 3,73% yaitu dari 45,16 %, menjadi 41,53 % . 10 desa lokus penanganan stunting tahap kedua berada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Basarang. Jumlah balita 0-59 bln yang di ukur tinggi badan berjumlah 795 orang, dari pengukuran tinggi badan tersebut di temukan balita Pendek berjumlah 207. Dilakukan studi tentang kejadian stunting. Penelitian ini bersifat diskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu data sekunder dari buku register ANC dan buku catatan register data balita. Variable yang diteliti meliputi ANC, tinggi ibu, pekerjaan ibu dan BBL. Populasi dan sampel yang diambil dengan pertimbangan peneliti adalah anak diatas lima tahun yang berjumlah 56 orang. Dari penelitian tersebut didapatkan 28 anak yang menderita stunting dan 28 anak yang tidak mengalami stunting. Stunting is one of the problems that hinders human development globally. Indonesia is still experiencing problems with nutrition and child development, therefore the percentage of short children under five in Indonesia is still high and is a health problem that must be addressed. Based on the results of Riskesdas 2013 in Central Kalimantan Province, there are 3 (three) districts with a fairly high prevalence of stunting, namely East Barito Regency 54.84%, Kapuas Regency 45.16% and East Kotawaringin Regency 36.88%. The results of Riskesdas in 2018, the stunting rate in Kapuas District had decreased by 3.73%, from 45.16% to 41.53%. The 10 locus villages for handling the second phase of stunting are in the working area of the Basarang Community Health Center. The number of toddlers from 0-59 months which was measured as height was 795 people, from the height measurement it was found that there were 207 stunted children. This research is descriptive using purposive sampling technique, namely secondary data from ANC register book and toddler data register book. The variables studied included ANC, mother's height, mother's occupation and weight gain. Population and sample taken with the consideration of researchers are children over five years, amounting to 56 people. From this study, 28 children were stunted and 28 children were not stunted.
