Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus dengue. Berdasarkan data Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, jumlah penderita Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) berdasarkan kabupaten/kota di Kalimantan Selatan pada tahun 2018 sebanyak 2004 kasus,16 orang diantaranya meninggal dunia. Dalam usaha untuk mengurangi efek samping dari penggunaan insektisida kimia maka perlu dicari alternatif lain yang lebih aman dan ekonomis serta tidak menimbulkan dampak terhadap manusia tetapi bermanfaat untuk pemberantas vektor. Salah satu alternatif dengan menggunakaan insektisida nabati sebagai larvasida alami yaitu dengan memanfaatkan tanaman serai dapur (cymbopogon citratus). Penelitian ini merupakan suatu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode true eksperimental design. Ilustrasi rancangan penelitian Posttest only Control Group Desain ,menggunakan 4 konsentrasi ekstrak serai dapur (cymbopogon citratus) yaitu 50%,60%,70% dan 80% . Besar sampel berjumlah 600 sampel larva Aedes aegypti dengan 25 larva uji setiap perlakuan dan replikasi sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil pengumpulan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik univariat, bivariat menggunakan uji statistik One Way Anova dengan uji alternatif uji Kruskal-Wallis dan dilanjutkan denagn uji Mann Whitney. Dihasilkan kematian larva sebanyak 100% pada konsentrasi 80% dalam waktu 1 jam. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak serai dapur berpotensi sebagai larvasida alami terhadap mortalitas larva aedes aegypti. Diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya dapat menghasilkan ekstrak yang jernih agar dapat diaplikatifkan dalam kehidupan di masyarakat. Dengue Fever (DBD) is a disease caused by dengue virus infection. In an effort to reduce the side effects of the use of chemical insecticide it is necessary to look for other alternatives that are safer and economical and do not cause impact on humans but are beneficial for vector elimination. One alternative with the use of vegetable insecticide as natural larvacide is by utilizing the kitchen lemongrass plant (Cymbopogon cithundred). This research is a quantitative study with the true experimental design method. Illustration of research draft Posttest only Control Group design, using 4 concentrations of lemongrass extract kitchen (Cymbopogon cithundred) is 50%,60%,70% and 80%. Large samples amounted to 600 samples of Aedes aegypti larvae with 25 larva test each treatment and replication as much as 4 times. Data collection results were analyzed using univariate statistics, bivariate using the One Way Anova statistical test with alternative test of Kruskal-Wallis and continued test of Mann Whitney. The death of larvae as much as 100% at 80% concentration in 1 hour. So it can be concluded that the kitchen lemongrass extract potentially as a natural larvacide against the mortality of Aedes aegypti larva. It is hoped that further research can produce clear extracts in order to be in the life of the community.
