Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui persentase kinerja filter di setiap ketinggian level pasir zeolit dalam mempertahankan mutu air sesudah clarifier. Penelitian mulai di Instalasi Pengolahan Air (IPA) Pramuka PDAM Bandarmasih kota Banjarmasin. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kepustakaan, pengecekan sampel, dan analisa hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Penambahan pasir zolite dan karbon aktif memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam menurunkan nilai kekeruhan air clarifier dengan rata-rata penurunan dari (0,68 NTU) di level 30 Cm menjadi (0,76 NTU) di level 40 Cm, (0,93 NTU) di level 50 Cm dan penurunan terbesar (1,21 NTU) di level 60 Cm. Persentase terbesar untuk nilai penurunan kekeruhan atau turbidity berada di level 60 Cm = 56 %, level 50 Cm = 45% dan level 40 Cm = 38 %. This study aims to determine the percentage of filter performance at each level of zeolite sand in maintaining water quality after the clarifier. The research began in Instalasi Pengelolaan Air (IPA) Pramuka PDAM Bandarmasih, Banjarmasin city. The method used is the literature auetode, checking samples, and analysis of the results. The results showed that the addition of zeolite sand and activated carbon had a significant impact in reducing the turbidity value of the calrifier water with an avergae decrease from (0,68 NTU) at the level of 30 cm to (0,76 NTU) at the level of 40 cm, (0,93 NTU) at the 50 cm level and the largest decrease (1,21 NTU) at the 60 cm level. The largest percentage for the reductiom in turbidity is at the level of 60 cm – 56%, the level 50 cm – 45%, and level 40 cm – 38%.
