Abstract

The development of technology has a lot of potential to increase knowledge, but technology also has limitations and dangers, including the use of online games. This study aims to determine the effect of the intensity of playing games on the learning outcomes of MIN 1 HSS students. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the type of Ex Post Facto research, namely research conducted after an incident has occurred. The population in this study were students of class IV, V, VI.MIN 1 HSS, with a sample of 34 students. The sampling technique used the theory of Burhan Bungin, namely by (purposive sampling) sampling by looking for key informants. The data collection technique used the results of questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were Percentage Descriptive Analysis, Regression Analysis Techniques, and Hypothesis Testing. The results of the percentage analysis research using questionnaire data variable X. From the results of the calculation of the percentage analysis, it is included in the percentage value interval 76% -100%, which means it is included in the Very Frequent category. It can be concluded that students of MIN 1 HSS Grades IV, V and VI often play games using cell phones. From the results of linear regression analysis. From the Output Model Summary table, it can be interpreted that the correlation value / relationship can be seen from the column (R) is 0.394. And from the column (R Square) it can be interpreted that the influence of Online Game Variables on Learning Outcomes Variables is 15.6%. From the results of the Hypothesis Test that the column (sig) Online Game is 0.021, which means that the significance is <0.05, we can draw the conclusion: Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that Online Games have an effect on Student Learning Outcomes at MIN 1 Hulu Sungai Selatan.
