Abstract

Skripsi berjudul “Perancangan Sistem Pintu Gerbang Otomatis Berbasis NodeMCU Menggunakan SMS Gateway” permasalahannya tidak adanya rancangan alat pengendali pintu gerbang secara otomatis, tidak adanya rancangan sistem pengontrol menggunakan smartphone melalui SMS gateway, kurang efektif dan efisiennya waktu pengguna untuk membuka dan menutup pintu gerbang. Metode pemecahan masalahnya dengan teknik pengumpulan data merupakan teknik mendapatkan data akurat, relevan dan valid, sumber datanya melalui observasi, studi kepustakaan, studi dokumentasi, membangun prototype, pengujian perancangan sistem dan alat. Hasil penelitiannya yaitu rancangan alat pengendali dan rancangan sistem pengontrol pembuka dan penutup pintu gerbang secara otomatis berbasis NodeMCU menggunakan SMS gateway telah berhasil dibuat untuk jenis pintu gerbang geser (slidding gate) dengan bantuan motor servo sebagai penggerak dan menggunakan smartphone melalui SMS gateway sebagai pelaksana sistem serta Web sebagai notifikasi sistem kepada pengguna. Berfungsinya alat setelah menerima SMS dari smartphone berupa perintah “Buka” atau “Tutup” untuk membuka atau menutup pintu gerbang dan rancangan sistem mengirimkan informasi ke smartphone berupa SMS balasan “PINTU TERBUKA” atau “PINTU TERTUTUP” dari rancangan sistem yang berjalan, serta notifikasi dari Web. Pemanfaatan pintu gerbang otomatis berhasil mempermudah dan mengatasi masalah. Rekomendasinya yaitu perlu ditambahkan bantuan kartu identitas pengguna sebagai pengganti SMS gateway, dikembangkan lagi tanpa koneksi internet, dan ditambahkan sensor jarak. The thesis entitled "Designing an Automatic Gate System Based on NodeMCU Using an SMS Gateway" the problem is that there is no design of an automatic gate controller, there is no design for a controller system using a smartphone via an SMS gateway, the less effective and efficient time for users to open and close the gate. The method of solving the problem with data collection techniques is a technique of obtaining accurate, relevant and valid data, the data source is through observation, literature study, documentation study, building prototypes, testing system design and tools. The results of his research are the design of the control device and the design of the automatic gate opening and closing control system based on NodeMCU using an SMS gateway has been successfully made for the type of sliding gate with the help of a servo motor as a driver and using a smartphone via SMS gateway as the executor of the system and Web as system notification to user. The function of the device after receiving an SMS from a smartphone is in the form of the command "Open" or "Close" to open or close the gate and the system design sends information to the smartphone in the form of an SMS reply "DOOR OPEN" or "DOOR CLOSED" from the design of the running system, as well as notifications from The web. The use of automatic gates has succeeded in simplifying and overcoming the problem. The recommendation is to add the assistance of a user's identity card as a substitute for the SMS gateway, to be developed again without an internet connection, and to add a proximity sensor.
