Abstract

World Health Organitation (WHO) pada tahun 2018 jumlah penderita skabies di dunia sekitar 300 juta setiap tahun dengan angka yang bervariasi di setiap negara. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan sanitasi lingkungan terhadap kejadian skabies pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Darul Inabah Kota Barabai Tahun 2021. Metode penelitian survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi seluruh santri berjenis kelamin laki-laki di MTS kelas VII dan VIII tahun 2019/2020 sebanyak 50 orang. Sampel sebanyak 50 responden menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian sebagian besar santri mengalami skabies dalam 3 bulan terakhir sebanyak 26 orang (52,0%). Kebersihan kamar tidur sebagian besar buruk sebanyak 35 orang (70,0%). Kebersihan kamar mandi sebagian besar baik sebanyak 29 orang (58,0%). Kebersihan tempat sholat sebagian besar buruk sebanyak 30 orang (60,0%). Kebersihan lingkungan sebagian besar baik sebanyak 34 orang (68,0%). Ada hubungan kebersihan kamar tidur (p-value=0,042) dan kebersihan lingkungan (p-value = 0,011) terhadap kejadian skabies pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Darul Inabah Kota Barabai Tahun 2021. Tidak ada hubungan kebersihan kamar mandi (p-value = 1,000) dan kebersihan tempat sholat (p-value = 0,092) terhadap kejadian skabies pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Darul Inabah Kota Barabai Tahun 2021. Diharapkan santri dapat menjaga kebersihan lingkungan untuk mencegah skabies seperti tidak pinjam meminjam seprai, alat sholat serta rutin membersihkan kamar tidur dan kamar mandi. The research method is an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The population of all male students in MTS grades VII and VIII in 2019/2020 is 50 people. A sample of 50 respondents using the Total Sampling technique. Statistical test using Chi Square test. The results of the study most of the students had scabies in the last 3 months as many as 26 people (52.0%). The cleanliness of the bedrooms is mostly bad as many as 35 people (70.0%). The cleanliness of the bathroom was mostly good as many as 29 people (58.0%). The cleanliness of the prayer room is mostly bad as many as 30 people (60.0%). Most of the environmental cleanliness is good as many as 34 people (68.0%). There is an effect of bedroom cleanliness (p-value = 0.042) and environmental cleanliness (p-value = 0.011) on the incidence of scabies in students at the Darul Inabah Islamic Boarding School, Barabai City in 2021. There is no effect of bathroom cleanliness (p-value = 1,000) and cleanliness of the prayer room (p-value = 0.092) on the incidence of scabies in students at the Darul Inabah Islamic Boarding School in Barabai City in 2021. It is expected that students can maintain a clean environment to prevent scabies such as not borrowing and borrowing sheets, prayer tools and regularly cleaning bedrooms and rooms bath.
