Abstract

Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN atau MEA yang merupakan sistem perdagangan bebas atau free trade antara negara-negara anggota ASEAN, hal tersebut menjadi sebuah tantangan bagi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) untuk terus bertahan dalam persaingan pasar bebas. Mudahnya penyebaran informasi dan semakin bebasnya kompetisi telah meningkatkan kesadarn konsumen akan banyaknya pilihan produk barang dan jasa yang dapat dipilih. Apabila UKM tidak membenahi strategi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan penjualan, maka UKM akan terancam bangkrut. Untuk itu UKM perlu melihat berbagai potensi alternatif media untuk dimanfaatkan menjadi media pemasaran. Tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh social media marketing dan brand image terhadap customer equity pada toko emas abadi di Kabupaten Seruyan tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif. Populasi adalah semua konsumen yang berbelanja emas di toko emas abadi di Kabupaten Seruyan pada bulan Agustus 2021. Sampel penelitian adalah konsumen yang berbelanja emas di toko emas abadi di Kabupaten Seruyan pada bulan Agustus 2021 dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu 72 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat ada pengaruh social media marketing terhadap customer equity dengan nilai sig 0,007 dan thitung 2,766 menunjukkan bahwa variabel X1 mempunyai hubungan yang searah dengan Y, Ada pengaruh Brand image terhadap customer equity dengan nilai sig 0,023 dan thitung 2,325 menunjukkan bahwa variabel X2 mempunyai hubungan yang searah dengan Y, Ada pengaruh social media marketing dan brand image terhadap customer equity dengan nilai Fhitung 10,233 dengan nilai probabilitas (sig)= 0,000. Disarankan responden meningkatkan kepercayaan akan emas yang akan dibeli dan lebih selektif dalam memilih dan menentukan emas yang diinginkan The ASEAN Economic Community or MEA, which is a free trade system or free trade between ASEAN member countries, has become a challenge for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to continue to survive in free market competition. The ease of information dissemination and the increasingly free competition have increased consumer awareness of the large selection of goods and services to choose from. If SMEs do not fix their marketing strategies to increase sales, they will be threatened with bankruptcy. For this reason, SMEs need to look at various potential alternative media to be used as marketing media. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of social media marketing and brand image on customer equity at the eternal gold shop in Seruyan Regency in 2021. This study is an associative research. The population is all consumers who shopped for gold at the eternal gold shop in Seruyan Regency in August 2021. The research sample was consumers who shopped for gold at the eternal gold shop in Seruyan Regency in August 2021 with a purposive sampling technique of 72 respondents. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an influence of social media marketing on customer equity with a sig value of 0.007 and tcount 2.766 indicating that the X1 variable had a direct relationship with Y. which is in the direction of Y. There is an influence of social media marketing and brand image on customer equity with an Fcount of 10.233 with a probability value (sig) = 0.000. It is recommended that respondents increase their confidence in the gold to be purchased and be more selective in choosing and determining the gold they want.
