Abstract

Beton adalah campuran semen portland atau semen hidraulik, agregat halus, agregat kasar dan air. Keunggulan beton yaitu harganya relatif murah, kekuatan tekan tinggi, tahan terhadap karat, mudah dibentuk, dan tahan terhadap kebakaran. Semakin meningkatnya penggunaan beton maka semakin banyaknya kebutuhan beton di masa yang akan datang. Hal itu akan mempengaruhi perkembangan teknologi beton, sehingga inovasi-inovasi baru sangat diperlukan. Salah satunya yaitu pemanfaatan limbah pecahan keramik sebagai pengganti sebagian agregat kasar dengan variasi 0%, 10%, 15%. Pengujian ini dilakukan dengan metode SNI ( Standar Nasional Indonesia) yang terdiri atas pengujian semen, agregat kasar, agregat halus dan pecahan keramik dengan pengujian karakteristik yaitu analisa saringan, pemeriksaan berat jenis, abrasi, kadar air, kadar lumpur, berat isi, kandungan organik, kehalusan semen, konsitensi dan waktu pengikatan. Untuk pengujian beton meliputi pengujian slump test dan pengujian kuat tekan. Dari hasil penelitian didapat kuat tekan yaitu beton dengan 0% limbah keramik didapat sebesar 206,941 kg/cm². Beton 10% limbah keramik didapat sebesar 178,658 kg/cm². Dan beton 15% limbah keramik didapat sebesar 193,291 kg/cm². Dari ketiga variasi diatas didapatkan kuat tekan sesuai rencana K-200 kg/cm² pada beton dengan 0% limbah keramik. Sedangkan pada beton 10% limbah keramik dan 15% limbah keramik belum mencapai rencana mutu K-200 kg/cm². Concrete is a mixture of portland cement or hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and water. The advantages of concrete are relatively cheap, high compressive strength, resistant to rust, easy to shape, and resistant to fire. The increasing use of concrete, the more the need for concrete in the future. This will affect the development of concrete technology, so that new innovations are needed. One of them is the utilization of ceramic shard waste as a partial substitute for coarse aggregate with variations of 0%, 10%, 15%. This test is carried out using the SNI method (Indonesian National Standard) which consists of testing cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and ceramic shards with characteristic tests, namely sieve analysis, inspection of specific gravity, abrasion, water content, mud content, bulk weight, organic content, cement fineness, consistency and setting time. For concrete testing includes slump test and compressive strength testing. From the results of the study, the compressive strength of concrete with 0% ceramic waste was obtained at 206.941 kg/cm². Concrete 10% ceramic waste obtained is 178.658 kg/cm². And 15% ceramic waste concrete is 193.291 kg/cm². From the three variations above, the compressive strength according to the plan is K-200 kg/cm² on concrete with 0% ceramic waste. While in concrete 10% ceramic waste and 15% ceramic waste have not reached the K-200 kg/cm² quality plan.
