Abstract

Hujan yang turun pada suatu areal dapat menimbulkan air limpasan, yaitu besarnya debit yang terjadi setelah tercapai keseimbangan antara hujan yang turun dengan air yang meresap ke dalam tanah. . Air limpasan ini dapat mengakibatkan erosi atau tergenangnya permukaan jalan. Maka dalam konstruksi suatu jalan, drainase diperlukan untuk melindungi seluruh bagian jalan dari pengaruh buruk air, baik pada permukaan maupun bawah permukaan jalan. Adapaun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dimensi drainase jalan By Pass Kota Rantau Kabupaten Tapin, untuk mengetahui kelandaian eksisting drainase jalan By Pass Kota Rantau, untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi eksisting saluran yang ada dan permasalahan apa yang terjadi pada eksisting dimensi saluran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan cara metode evaluasi/pengamatan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kontur jalan pada ruas jalan By Pass Kota Rantau umumnya datar maka kemiringan saluran dipakai 2 macam yaitu 0 – 2% dan 2 – 4%, dimensi ini sudah memenuhi terhadap ukuran eksisting saluran di jalan tersebut diatas. Kelandaian saluran diambil 0-2% dan 2-4% untuk dua macam tipe saluran seperti pada tabel poin 1 diatas, ukuran gorong-gorong adalah berdiameter 80, 100 cm dan tidak ada box culvert, gorong-gorong hanya ada 2 buah yaitu 1 buah di STA 111 + 700 yaitu di depan terminal Rantau dan 1 buah lagi di STA 112 + 900 dekat bundaran Dulang. Kondisi saluran cukup baik namun harus terus dipelihara agar memudahkan kelancaran air mengalir pada saluran tersebut, dari pantauan peneliti rata-rata ada endapan berupa material sirtu pada dasar saluran setebal 5 sampai 10 cm namun ini tidak terlalu banyak mempengaruhi fungsi saluran. This runoff can result in erosion or flooding of the road surface. So in the construction of a road, drainage is needed to protect all parts of the road from the bad influence of air, both on the surface and below the road surface. The purpose of this research is to find out the dimensions of the existing channel in the City of Rantau, Tapin Regency, to find out the condition of the existing channel on the By Pass road in the City of Rantau, to find out how the condition of the existing channel exists and what problems occur in the dimensions of the existing channel. This research uses an evaluation/field observation method. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the contour of the road on the By Pass road in Rantau City is generally flat, so the slope of the channel used is 2 kinds, namely 0 - 2% and 2 - 4%, this dimension is sufficient to meet the size of the channel on the road mentioned above. The slope of the canal is taken from 0-2% and 2-4% for the two types of canals as in the table point 1 above, the size of the culverts is 80, 100 cm in diameter and there is no box culvert, there are only 2 culverts, namely 1 in the STA 111 + 700 which is in front of the Rantau terminal and 1 more at STA 112 + 900 near the Dulang roundabout. The condition of the channel is quite good but must be maintained to make it easier for air to flow in the channel, from the observations of the researchers on average there is a sirtu material at the bottom of the channel with a thickness of 5 to 10 cm, but this does not really affect the function of the channel.
