Abstract
Hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi adalah suatu peningkatan tekanan darah di dalam arteri. Seseorang dinyatakan hipertensi apabila seseorang memiliki tekanan darah sistolik ≥ 140 mmHg dan ≥ 90 untuk tekanan darah diastolik ketika dilakukan pengulangan. Tujuan penelitian untuk hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku lansia dalam pengendalian hipertensi di Puskesmas Ilung Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah semua lansia di Puskesmas Ilung dengan teknik total sampling 112 lansia. Instrument penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data dengan chi square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat dukungan keluarga kurang sebanyak 60 (53,6%), dan perilaku lansia kurang sebanyak 47 (42%), ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku lansia dalam pengendalian hipertensi dengan p-value=0,000. Saran puskesmas dapat memberikan sosalisasi/penyuluhan kepada lansia untuk menjaga pola makan, olahraga ringan/rutin serta rajin memeriksakan kesehatan setiap 1 bulan sekali. Hypertension or high blood pressure is an increase in blood pressure in the arteries. A person is declared hypertension if a person has a systolic blood pressure of 140 mmHg and 90 for diastolic blood pressure when repeated. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between family support and the behavior of the elderly in controlling hypertension at the Ilung Health Center, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency in 2021. This study was an analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The population is all the elderly at the Ilung Health Center with a total sampling technique of 112 elderly. The research instrument used a questionnaire and data analysis with chi square. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was less family support as much as 60 (53.6%), and the behavior of the elderly as much as 47 (42%), there was a relationship between family support and the behavior of the elderly in controlling hypertension with p-value = 0.000. Suggestions that the health center can provide socialization/counseling for the elderly to maintain diet, light/routine exercise and diligently check their health once a month.
