Abstract
The purpose of the study was to describe the leadership style possessed by the Sungai Ulin Village Head, towards increasing employee performance in serving the Sungai Ulin Village community. The research methode used a descriptive approach with qualitative research. Data were collected by interviewing employees of Sungai Ulin Village. The results showed that. The leadership from Sungai Ulin Village has a democratic leadership style, the results and interviews conducted show conformity to the indicators of democratic leadership style put forward by Kartono.
