Abstract
ABSTRACT Muhammad Adam Muslimin, NPM 19210026 “GRAMMAR LEARNING IN THE INDONESIA EFL CLASSROOM: ASSESSMENT OF STUDENTS’ SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE ABILITY”. Thesis English Language Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training Education, Islamic University of Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari, Banjarmasin. First Advisor: Iwan Perdana, M.Pd. Second Advisor: Supiani, M.Pd. This study investigates the use of Simple Present Tense in Indonesia English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom in terms of assesment of students’ abilities. The study seeks to identify the extent to which students can engage in a conversation and produce a written text using Simple Present Tense. Data was collected through written tests and observation. The results show that there is 26 Students’ usage of Simple Present Tense.
