Chronic Energy Deficiency KEK is a condition in which the mother suffers from a chronic state of food deficiency that results in health problems in the mother. Based on SEZ data for pregnant women in the Berangas Health Center Work Area, namely in 2021 there were 94 pregnant women out of 539 pregnant women or as many as (17.44%), in 2022 there were 67 KEK pregnant women out of 652 pregnant women or as many as (10.17%), in 2023 there were 71 KEK pregnant women out of 460 pregnant women or as many as (15.43%) and in 2024 in January-April there were 138 KEK pregnant women. The purpose of the study was to find out the factors related to the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women in the Berangas Health Center Working Area in 2024. The research uses an approach method cross sectional. The population of this study is 138 pregnant women and the sample is 58 respondents. The research instrument used LILA ribbon and questionnaire. Data analysis using only square. The results showed that there was no relationship between the age of pregnant women and KEK (p=0.025), there was a relationship between the employment of pregnant women and KEK (p=0.001), there was a relationship between the knowledge of pregnant women and KEK (p=0.010), and there was a relationship between pregnancy distance and KEK (p=0.004). The conclusion of this study states that the age of pregnant women has no relationship with KEK, and occupation, knowledge, and pregnancy distance have a relationship with KEK. It is hoped that the health center can improve the treatment program for pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency and carry out early detection of factors that cause Chronic Energy Deficiency in KEZ.
