Abstract

Data Puskesmas Astambul tahun 2023 terdapat 150 kasus scabies dan data tahun 2024 dari bulan Januari sampai dengan maret terdapat 25 kasus scabies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan personal hygiene dan sanitasi lingkungan dengan kejadian scabies di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Astambul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi analitik, dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 582 KK. dengan jumlah sampel 86 orang, tehknik sampling yaitu simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar tidak terkena scabies (62,8%), personal hygiene sebagian baik (53,3%) dan sanitasi lingkungan sebagian besar baik (65,1%). Ada hubungan personal hygiene dengan kejadian scabies (p-value=0,000) dan ada hubungan sanitasi lingkungan dengan kejadian scabies (p-value=0,000). Diharapkan dapat meningkatkan upaya promosi Kesehatan tentang pencegahan dan penanggulangan penyakit scabies. Astambul Health Center data for 2023 contained 150 cases of scabies and data for 2024 from January to March there were 25 cases of scabies. This study aims to determine the relationship between personal hygiene and environmental sanitation with the incidence of scabies in the Astambul Health Center Work Area. This research uses an analytical observation method, with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 582 families. with a sample size of 86 people, the sampling technique was simple random sampling. Data analysis used the chi square test. The results showed that the majority were not affected by scabies (62.8%), personal hygiene was mostly good (53.3%) and environmental sanitation was mostly good (65.1%). There is a relationship between personal hygiene and the incidence of scabies (p-value=0.000) and there is a relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of scabies (p-value=0.000). It is hoped that it can increase health promotion efforts regarding the prevention and control of scabies.
