Abstract
This study aims to determine perceptions, levels of trust and behavior of lecturers at Indonesia in responding to the policy of "Kampus Merdeka". The study was conducting a survey of 610 lecturers who were taken by purporsive sampling. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and average comparison test. While the observed variables are perception, trust and behavior. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The majority of lecturers have received information about the "Kampus merdeka" policy (53%), (2) The majority of lecturers believe that the learning policy outside the study program will increase student competency (61%), (3) The majority of lecturers still doubted the readiness of their campus to implement learning patterns outside study programs (45.2%), even 34.4% of lecturers stated that their campuses were not ready to implement, (4) The majority of lecturers in Indonesia stated that the implementation of learning outside of study programs would still be difficult to implement on their campus (70.3%), (4). The majority of lecturers stated that kampus merdeka learning had more advantages than its drawbacks for the development of the higher education system in Indonesia (56.2%), (5) The lecturers had a level of trust in the successful implementation of kampus merdeka learning by 62.5%. (6) The majority of lecturers show positive behavior towards the kampus merdeka policy, such as going to discuss positive things about the kampus merdeka policy, will change the learning patterns that currently exist to fit the concept of a free-campus learning campus, committed to providing the best performance they, lecturers are more interested in exploring information about the policy of an kampus merdeka, and will invite other lecturers to participate in supporting the policy of an kampus merdeka.
